Hello again!
So it snowed last night, and I got a call this morning saying that it would be a snow day ( aka a Non-Traditional Instruction Day). So I've basically been chilling at my house taking care of my two dogs since both my parents are working today, when I get this notification from my director that we will still be rehearsing today even though ALL other programs have been called off for the day and one of my friends told me our principal directly stated there would be no programs at the school today. I've already emailed my director letting him know I will not be there (it's not like my parents could drop everything and take me) but still, can anyone discern the legality of this? I looked through my school's online handbook, yet it mentions nothing about NTI days relating to after-school activities. I live in the United States and am still a minor so if anyone has any clue about any laws relating to after-school programs that my director is currently violating it would be greatly appreciated if anyone can let me know in the comments!
Utterly confused,
Max
