Emptiness crept in my heart after reading this 27 chapters-short novel. Coz it's always in the end a person realizes how important someone is to them, but they can't do something about it anymore. When the routine becomes normal, when the sparks started to die down, and when his friends - supposedly correcting his mistakes- encourages him to do horrible things just because they feel empty inside, and that they have the needs of wanting to drag him down to their level (playboy) just to justify the jealousy they feel towards him since they can't reach to his level (being good and loving husband). It all burnt him down leading to have an affair. As what they said "passionate love burns out quickly."

All the hard works and dedication he did to win the love he think he deserved becomes nothing after that series of lies and deceptions and the delusions he feed his ego that he can balance his wife and his mistress, it's insane! 

This is a good novel. Satisfying ending and you can finish reading it early since it's just a short novel, not those novels with 3000 chapters.
