I have a hard time making friends since I always come off as weird and off putting :b. I mean I've already given up on making more irl friends since I already have my group but I want more online friends!!! But idk how to be not spooky :(

yupp, i found it hard to make friends with people in my area, it was especially hard at school because i just didn't get along with the people in my classes
it's a little hard making online friends but you definitely get there at some point :)

To be real, you can just reach out to people. Granted I don't know the odds on a forum like this, but you could try messaging people who have things in common with you.

this is definitely true, it helps a lot because a conversation with a stranger can spiral into learning about what you both like, but there's a few factors with that like how dry the other person is, do both people like the topic etc, but this works!
doesn't hurt to take a risk, even leaving a profile comment works sometimes and it gets something going usually
the odds are probably short considering there's probably many people who exist on this site just to be in their own bubble but it doesn't hurt to try a little, even if it's a little intimidating :p
