As a kid I grew up with my single father who loved tech but was, and still is, also a very private man who cannot be found by name anywhere on the internet, he always taught me about the dangers of the internet and how easy it is for people to gain access to your information.
Many years later when I was 22 I learnt that there was a downside to my father's way of living though when I had to register myself as homeless in order to get help with finding somewhere to live as it turned out that the council where I was living couldn't actually find any proof that I existed because I had never had a bank account, ID, loans or any sort of contracts.
Now I feel like I should explain a bit more as to why this ended up happening, see I am disabled, I cannot work and I have to be extremely careful whenever I go outside since my immune system doesn't work properly, I had no reason to have any of the things needed to prove I exist especially since I was living my life through online video games like Second Life and I still am to this day.
It's actually quite funny because many people who have met me throughout my life have referred to me as a digital ghost that only exists in people's computers which to be fair is pretty accurate since I am very rarely able to experience the real world.
