A Trip Down Memory Lane

Whew, this page has been a doozy to set up! I'm mighty excited to start posting here—and ain't it all just a marvel of technology? I was positively ecstatic once I found out about this site! It seems like a real perfect place to share parts of my life with you all, and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't excited to.

As of currently, I'm ways away from home! I've come all the way up to Oregon to help a buddy out with his research, and I'm awfully glad I did. It's been great getting to finally reconnect with him, way too long apart, I'd say! I'm already starting to miss home, but my friend here has definitely been trying his best to make me feel as comfortable as I can be during my stay.

We ended up going through a ton of old boxes together, looking through photos he had taken over the years. A lot of them are from our time in university, when he had just gotten himself a brand new camera. He insisted he wanted to try it out immediately, and I ended up as the focus! There's about a hundred of us goofing off, or his attempts at getting candid photos of me that quickly got ruined when I was blinded by the flash. (Despite his other ambitions, he's a mighty fine photographer!)

But that brings us to the most recent photo. It's the one I'm currently using as my profile picture! He took it not long after we finished rooting through photos, something for old times sake. I'm real excited to see what the town of Gravity Falls holds for me, and even more excited to share it with you all.
