Hey!!
So, as a 25-year-old, I never got to experience Myspace but grew up with the internet transforming, and it's weird to see it become what it is today. As someone who grew up in fandom (one direction, mostly) I was consistently on Twitter, Instagram, and Tumblr in their early days. Honestly, now seeing how much social media and doomscrolling has consumed my life and just added to my own mental illnesses and overall...panic? about the state of the world, has become draining.
So when I realized some people are going back to 'dumb' phones and websites like this and creativity over algorithms and constant social media, it made me curious.
So Hi!
I'm Arami, I'm 25, from Texas, but currently staying in New Zealand to complete my Master's. I love music, reading, writing, and movies. I love candy and boba! I'm shy but I love getting to know people and making friendships!

Hiiii and welcomee!! I’m also quite new here. I also agree with u about the state of the internet these days, way too much checking on other’s personal lives and way too little excitement over the small things. Tbh enjoying my nostalgia is so relaxing and has become a great coping mechanism for me. Sometimes u gotta go back a few steps lol :D
