Heya Everyone!

Hey everyone! My first post on spacehey, so I'm a little nervous! 

I thought I'd take a moment to say, it's so refreshing to see a return to the 'old-fashioned' kind of social media/web forums. Not that I was particularly online during that period of the internet, but it is nice to see that some people, if only a small cluster, are breaking away from the oppressive, algorithm-y landscape that is most social media platforms nowadays. That being said, I'm relatively new to this platform (well, not that new - I joined a few months ago, but tbh I've been pretty inactive). So, it's now my goal to meet some people and make some new friends.

Which brings me to the subject of this post - meeting people! Specifically, likeminded people. So, to start the discussion, if you're reading this, and you're another queer person online, let's have a chat about anything queer! It can be history, or anything gender-y, or even anything relating to pop culture or media. Hope this reaches the right audience!
