how do u talk to people irl??

im aware I probably sound so chronically online when I say this, but how do people talk to strangers so easily?? like I try talking to people irl, but my mind just goes blank and all i can think about is how i have nothing to think about. i want to make friends, but every convo i have is the dryest of dryest small talk. i think it may have to do with my CHRONIC social anxiety and how socially, im not confident AT ALL. i just sometimes wish i could do a reverse lobotomy and stuff some extra brain info on how to function socially. if anyone has advice, please share T-T
