sometimes i feel like an empty shell

of someone i could become,

of something

that maybe without all that sadness

i could already be.

maybe if i was born in another place,

if i met other people,

if i was different,

maybe i could be something today,

someone.

but here i am,

an empty shell

that could've been a person.
