Guys please tell me if this is good writing, idk

She started to walk slowly towards her room. Afraid of what might have to come to light when she got there. Her heels tapped lightly on the cold, clean floor.

Her heart felt like a punch to her chest every few seconds.

Her mind was filled with everything that happened last night. The argument, the confession, her touch. Oh God, her touch. 

She felt pathetic for liking it. Her hands on her jaw, her words, the closeness, her eyes, hands, face, mouth, lips, her tongu-

"Shut up."

She said to herself softly. Telling- No. Demanding her mind to be quiet. To shut up for once in its life. To stop thinking about that. About everything. About her.

As pathetic as it was for the girl, it was fresh, new, uexplainable, even. 

But even if it was, it couldn't last. She needed to think of something else. Something rememberable. Something that couldn't scare her.

She started to listen to her clicks, her heart, her breaths. Like that was gonna stop anything.

Tap. Tap. Tap.

Click. Click. Click.

pitter... patter.. pitter.. patter.

Her heart got faster as her heels went on the floor harder. Though her feet got slower and slower every step she took to her lady's door.

She finally stopped. She was there. 

She used to find this door comforting. Knowing that if something happened, she could go there. And no one could judge. But now . . .

She cussed at the gods for making her do this. It wasn't their fault, of course. But who else's fault could it be? Not her. She was just.. enjoying the time she had with her lady. She didn't think that.. or even know..

"I didn't know. I didn't want it to happen."

Is what she told herself. Lying to herself. Trying to trick herself into thinking that there wasn't more to this than what was right in front of her.

"I don't want this.. no.. I don't want her..."

But of course. Only a fool could possibly believe that, no?
