Shipping culture on tiktok is so messy...its almost 2025 and we are rly hating on people for shipping two people who actually have a connection and were meant to be together but the author couldn't make it canon...

These people would not last a day on tumblr. Shipping is older than the people saying that. It is IMPOSSIBLE to have a fandom without shipping. You can make the argument that shipping in every fandom is annoying or defeats the purpose of the story (some of those takes I can agree with) but no matter what that wont stop them. We used to ship people from different universes what happened 💔💔 Non canon ships does not mean its the end of the world and I will ALSOOO say that about people that hate on canon ships as well.
Forever living by "As long as its not illegal" I even fuk with crack ships I love nonsensical shipping I love seeing rarepairs.
DAREEE I say some of the people hating on LGBT ships don't actually like gay people but that would cause a whole war so lemme not...
some ships do deserve slander but to shit on shipping as a whole is so funny to me
