i honestly rlly hate it when ppl friend others just to boost the number of friends they have, like friends are just a number. this might sound a little needy but like if u wanna friend me i expect u to ACTUALLY be my friend, isnt that the entire point of the site?? why would you friend me anyway? also how the heck do people find me. do they see me friends with someone else? do they see me in groups? genuinely curious tbh

idk abt how ppl find u but ik when i friend someone randomly (which is most of the time) its bc 1) they show up in cool new ppl, 2) theyre friends w/ someone im friends with, 3) they commented on smthn i saw. and if someones pfp + name intrigues me somehow i click on it, and if i like the page i send a request!!
but it is weird how ppl on here dont interact much :P i try to but i think some ppl might just be shy or awkward
