Three Radikal Rekerds #13: Abbozzo Auditing of an Abjurator's Asylum

Todays update is dedicated to some rather cool projects by folks in my friends list, some lovely creative individuals I've either requested or accepted their way into the loops of my heart :D Have a gander at these offerings, and maybe give these nice indie artists a friend request if you are able to.

Lolita Terrorist Sounds, Shaved Girl
Genre: Avant-Rock
Standout track: Shaved Girl
Unnerving piano-led erotomaniacal anthem with strange and uncomfortable lyrics. If you're a fan of the unrushed and menacing pace of fellow freaky bands like Oxbow and Pissed Jeans, you'd be remiss in overlooking this song, and it's skittering spider-like b-side "Curse".

Krispy Wizard, Gone Sour
Genre: Cybergrind/Chiptune
This absolutely bonkers single is the deranged offspring of a Spacehey user named Jojo. A lot of head-caving ideas cranked into this one minute 'n a bit long track. I sincerely hope this leads to a full album at some point in the foreseeable future, although my interest in anything Jojo has a hand in has been piqued :3

These Violent Delights, and it became too much to carry...
Genre: Darkwave/Industrial/Downtempo
Standout track: Strained Restraints
This sublimely abject album has the raw cut n' paste quality of old school industrial goth bands - think early Skinny Puppy or Velvet Acid Christ with agonized and distorted vocals aplenty! - with the unrushed and breathless darkness of trip hop outfits such as Portishead and DJ Shadow - sedated breakbeats and grimily hollow atmosphere intact! Of all the new projects I've had the privilege of listening to on Spacehey, These Violent Delights reminds me the most of the kind of marvellously weird and grossly undervalued music I used to seek out on Myspace and mp3.com.
