surrender by suicide

DOES ANYONE KNOW THIS SONG I FOUND !?!??

OK SO basically early this year i was going thru peoples playlists to find more music to add to my library and i came across a song 'surrender' by suicide, which is a duo band from the 70s to 90s. when listening to this song i instantly feel in love because it gives me such hot summer romance night vibes, like i literally need this song injected into my VEINSSSS. 

there is two versions of the song, one being from the original album 'a way of life' and then the other version is on the the 2005 remastered album of ' a way of life'  is the exact same but it sounds so much more echoing, haunting and beautiful for me personally. (both versions are amazing). 

i had a listen to some of the bands other songs and most of the other songs on that album is quite different to 'surrender' and their music as a whole differs from what i usually listen to, but i am slowly warming up to it. another song is 'dream baby dream' is another one of theirs music that i like. xx

i found out that the song was in a film called 'hot summer nights' (legit the exact vibe i got from listening to the song) and the film was flawed but still enjoyable and they played this song at a perfect part of the film and made the viewing experience SO GOOD like omg, i could not stop reminiscing about it. also the film had such a great soundtrack featuring past hits such as david bowie, roxette, etc . definitely watch the film when you get a chance. (THE SOUNDTRACK EATS SO BADDD)

ANYWAYS, yeah i found like only 1 tiktok with this song and legit nothing else and so im writing here because im seeing so many people from different parts of the world so im hoping someone knows and loves this song because i need to discuss with other people who like this song because i am going CRAZYYYYY. 

if you don't know this song please listen to it !! like listen to it on a night drive or in the background of your room idk ! just pls listen to it because i need you to tell me what you think of this song !!
