Thankful

Thanksgiving happens and families are coming together to celebrate. tbh honest I'm not understanding why people have to go back home to be surrounded by people who don't even like them but I guess, this year though for me was very delightful and I had a lot to be thankful for this year, my grandpa is no longer with us and it has been a few years since he passed but every year it hits me like a truck that he isn't with me anymore but this year I felt his presence in everything I did and everything we created with my small little family. its only 8 of us but there was no one trying to outdo the person next to them or talk crap about how someone is doing so much better, this year was simply about family and creating memories and I love that for us, after everything we have been through, we deserved this time.
