Fancy Microwave Ramen (Recipe)

This is literally just souped up (haha, soup) microwave ramen. Takes a bit of the existential edge off of having a diet of primarily dollar store meals, though.

You will need:

  • Microwave ramen of your choice (I use chicken for this particular recipe)
  • Chili flakes
  • Indian curry powder
  • (OPTIONAL) Chicken seasoning (tastes like chicken stock)
RECIPE:
  1. Make the ramen. I get the ramen bricks, so I just put one of those in a bowl, fill the bowl about halfway with water, put in the microwave for three minutes (my microwave is 1000 watts, so what would be considered "on high"), and mix in the seasoning packet. Don't drain the water for this, as you'll want it to help mix the seasoning better.
  2. Mix in the seasoning. My general rule of thumb is "always season more than you think you'll need". I don't measure anything ever because ain't nobody got time for that, but if I had to translate my grandma measurements into common speak, it'd probably be:
  • A tablespoon of chicken seasoning
  • A tablespoon and a half of curry powder
  • Half a tablespoon of chili flakes
But I usually end up adding more because there's no such thing as too much seasoning.

And that's it. Pretty simple, literally just ramen with better seasoning. You can drink the broth when you're done eating the noodles for what I call "The Ultimate Health Potion Of Harming" (stir the seasoning really well into the broth or you will choke on the chili flakes when you get to the bottom of the bowl). Always drink soup broth, kids; it's really good for your immune system.

UPDATE: I tried this recipe but with beef ramen, chili powder, Cajun seasoning, and Guinness syrup, and it was so good that when i went to taste test it, I accidentally ate the whole bowl right there.
