project documentation for 'Reader's Den' (wip) part 1
project overview:
project name -> 'Reader's Den' (wip)
concept -> a super cute and cozydigital e-reader web app with features that allows community online gatherings aka groups and forums to discuss books
backstory:
i've always loved reading books since i was younger! the first book i remember reading with my mom was 'Geronimo Stilton', it's about the adventures of a mouse who owns a newspaper business (i was like super intrigued on how a mouse can run a business??? like they're tiny lil animals???? @-@ anw). my mom told me i started reading since i was like 3 y.o and the first book i read was the bible apparently?? that's impressive, i suppose!
one of my core memories when i was younger was bringing 'Geronimo Stilton' books to the airplane and reading them with my mom! i loved reading on the plane because it kept me from getting bored, but since i'm a pretty fast reader, i always wanted to bring more than one book, which made my carry on super heavy :/
so i got my first e-reader, it was a kindle! you might ask, 'why didn't you just get books on your phone?'. well tbh, i hated how e-readers look on phone or tablets, they look so ugly... no offense... it looked too modern and doesn't have the same cozy vibes as a physical book (i am aware any type of e-reader wouldn't be like a physical book). which is why i thought the kindle would be better. and it was!! for a while at least... after some time, i noticed that i hated the hassle of having to bring more than one devices at one go???? so yeah,,,
that is the backstory of why i want to make this 'cute and cozy' e-reader!
