SPOILERS AHEAD !!

just a little teensie rant about this amazing show before i head to bed. not only was the colours, artstyle, and writing AMAZING in the second season—but the portrayal of how it’s not always the good guy that wins it all after everything absolutely SHATTERED me—in a good way!

it was heartbreaking to see ekko in that one scene all alone, but it also reminded me how war is indeed not fair. just like how loris died a quick death. no speech, no nothing, just straight up got mogged by arrows and we saw nothing else about him other than the pianist pushing his body away so he could arm the gun thing.

my timebomb heart will always hurt for ekko in that universe, but it is nice to know that he at least has his happy ending in another universe.
