hi!! this is today's reading :3
Leo is the fixed fire sign (funny enough, we got it's opposite sign, Aquarius yesterday!). as a fire sign, Leo is warm and passionate, navigating the world using the tools of inspiration and joy. this is a sign that gravitates towards it's personal idea of fun and love. as a fixed sign, Leo prefers to maintain and tend to things that are already in motion, needing to spend time with things to feel connection and relying on isolation during struggle. This is an extremely loyal and generous sign -- the lion loves with it's whole heart and nothing less.
Mars, the planet of action and energy, feels easily pressured by power when filtered through the sign of Leo. Mars presents small, external struggles in the host's life -- accidents, the body, contests, and bullies. when Mars is in a fire sign, it finds root in impulsivity, with actions being taken before they're fully thought through. in a fixed sign, Mars becomes quite stubborn and finds itself in positions of resistance. however, the positive aspects of this are that intensity can often bring leadership. Mars in 4th indicates the inheritance of a parent or caregiver's rage, and also a fierce loyalty. additionally, there is a vibrant inner world that desires fun and innocence and play; the host may indulge themselves in playful experiences in their private life, including interior decorations to match how they wish to experience the world. the lesson here is that hardship isn't forever. give yourself time to yourself where you can play! if you're noticing that more and more people are getting on your nerves or doing you wrong, see if you can identify what you've been loyal to -- is this something that you would want others to see in you? isolation might be the best bet for healing right now, but this doesn't have to mean that you're cutting people off, just try not to bulldoze over others while making space for yourself.

the Knight of Swords reversed is our unconscious energy today. this knight barrels in, overwhelmed with thoughts and ideas, throwing himself into chaos without taking time to reflect on his surroundings. this can indicate feeling like there's too much on your plate, causing you to miss what's truly in front of you. try not to avoid your responsibilities today, take time to identify the frog so that you can eat it first thing!
all together, there's themes of isolation and emotional intensity. you might be avoiding a hard conversation with an older family member or feeling a little too overwhelmed by your depression room to get anything done. it's healthy to take time to relax and unwind, but if you're stuck in stasis waiting for your anxiety to go away without eating the frog, it's time to unlock that perseverance inside of you and make it into something fun! Leo is a performer at heart, how can you find joy with the drama of it all?
