Paganism is the moral option

Religious values should constantly evolve. This is an objective truth and we as a people should evolve with it. This means getting rid of bad gods and leaving them in antiquity, while allowing gods who are beneficent to permeate through society.
This is a fact. Pagan gods are constantly mischaracterised as bad gods who do not care for their devotees, however this is untrue.

The god of the Jews, Y**H (Whose name I wont say for sake of respecting basic yiddishkeit, and is technically pagan if we go by the idea that pagan gods are pre-Christian gods) has constantly lead his people out of tribulation and used tests only for lessons, and refused things such as human blood. Not only this, but his morality is incredibly developed.
These characteristics make up a truly good god, and they are shared by many gods of the Greeks, of the Romans, and especially of the Indians, whose gods embody the positives of the world for quite the most part.

Good examples of these good gods would be Athena Nike (both the syncretised goddess and the individual goddesses), Apollo, Achilles (If we can classify him as a deity, he had a cult around the time of Homer's account of the Trojan war which seems to have ended mid-6th century), Vishnu and his avataras, Maa Kali, etc etc. They all share these characteristics for most part.

The god of the Christians, however, is an obviously bad god. He sends men to hell for an Orwellian level crime of "wrong think", he forces worship of him on Sundays at fear of excommunication from what is called his "body", and encourages mass cannibalism. This is a blatant example of a bad god. Other gods who entitle these characteristics would be the god of the Saracens and the god of the Mormons.

With the classification and organisation of these deities out of the way, it must be true that the most rational and moral option must be paganism. If a god will force worship that was not a consented covenant, then why follow him? That god must be shallow.
All in all, religious values do constantly evolve. A good god evolves with the values of the people the same way a politician, a public servant to the people evolves with the values of the souls who elected them.
