WICKED MOVIE

ok so i just saw the wicked movie and it was overall really really good!

i think all the actors did really well except i hate ethan slater. idk why he just urks me (҂` ﾛ ´) lolll

i saw wicked on west end many years ago but i was pretty young so i didnt really understand or appreciate the show and the overall story. But now i understand and the movie did a really great job conveying everything it needed to!

some hot-take critiques tho tbh

I liked and hated the extra interludes that are different from the broadway recording. i understand that in the full broadway show there is def dialogue and action between what the song on the recording is but i felt that at times in the movie, there was a little TOO much action and i was on the edge of my seat waiting for the next lyric of the song (｡T ω T｡) there were some times it was good to have extended parts and some times it was unessecary

and the ending defying gravity scene had SO MUCH potential to be perfect but i feel it might have been a little OVER done tbh... that song def had EXTENDED scenes inbetween lyrics of the song that had me shaking in anticipation and some moments could have been shorter. and some brief moments were pretty awkward. like the times that elphaba said "it's me" were a bit strange... also the flying looked a little silly at times but i shouldnt be too mad because idk what i want or how production couldve done it better.

like it was a great movie but the ending was questionable

but as a musical lover this was so great and i will DEF be listening to the soundtrack, defff the movie of the year

im mad its a part 1 tho cus like broooo i wanna see the next partttt (☆_@) like the musical is in one sitting why not the movie?!?!?!? (UGH yk what?!its cus the movie had all those extra long scenes so it was too long!)
