MY THOUGHTS ON EVERY DBD KILLER - PT1

someone commented on one of my other blog entries talking about how this site doesn't have much to offer i terms of fandom/interest related content which i definitely agree with. as far as i can tell groups are unused, probably because unfortunately this site isn't big enough to have large amounts of users within a niche, so the only real way to get the daily required amounts of special interest content is to have a bunch of friends who share that special interest and want to talk to you about it (how do you even talk to someone about a fandom you're in regularly i dont get it tbh). sooooo! here's some fandom content for all my dbd girlies (are y'all out there?), just my opinions on every killer (including the houndmaster since she just dropped today omggg). Obviously i can't do them all in one blog post because there's like 40 killers now?? (it's 38 actually) so here's pt1

starting with the og: trapper (evan macmillian)

yummmm yes i love him! the ONLY diva in the fog that rebelled against the entity (couldn't rebel against his abusive dad tho LOL), even if it was unsuccessful and got him mutilated by the entity (the hooks in his back are punishment by the entity). i rlly want his big baddie skin bc like yummm??? yummy??? you can guess why i like it. i don't actually play him that much but i do buy shard cosmetics for him so i can check him out in the lobby. when im playing survivor it's a different deal tho bc i feel like he's sooooo boring. like oh wow im in a trap now ig, was completely hidden so i had no way of avoiding it yayyy!!! plus on maps like lampkin lane he can just make the entirety of mid map unusable and then you're stuck with the shitty filler pallets in the houses and then the entire map is a deadzone yayyy totally fun. ANYWAY, i just love complaining about survivor gameplay bc soloq is miserable. SMASH, moving on

the og cutie: wraith (philip ojomo)

yippeeeee he's so cute i love him. he's so tortured by his past too which also makes me love him bc like how could y'all do this to him </3. as much as i do love his lore: village burned down in a civil war; unknowingly employed to dispose of dead bodies; murdered his boss as revenge and uses his spine as a weapon, i do have personal beef with bhvr about his lore because did y'all know that the wraith was gonna be an entirely different character originally??? yeah so there were originally gonna be 4 og killers just like there's 4 og survivors (makes sense right?) and there's lots of concept art of the wraith in the swamp (unfinished swamp maps were in the files since the beginning and were likely removed due to time constraints) and concept art of some other unreleased killer in autohaven so clearly the wraith wasn't meant to come with autohaven. sooooo why would the wraith we know be in a swamp? that's where the idea that the wraith used to have different lore comes from. in the files his name in banshee, and just looking at him he doesn't really give "works in a wreck shop" vibes does he? his clothes give more tribal vibes imo, plus his add ons are all mysterious symbols, plus his perks are weird, plus his blighted skin (meant to be an extreme representation of his character) looks like a weird twisted tree. BASICALLY, the theory is he was originally gonna be some forest spirit that hunts people but then they didn't have time to finish the swamp so they just dumped him in autohaven with new lore. cool right? (if yes check out Mintskull's youtube playlist where he talks about the wraith among other stuff) so yeah if you can't tell i love wraith. in terms of gameplay i find him fun, since he's m1 only there isn't too much skill involved but body blocking survivors is fun. he's also fun to play against bc like?? you can see him pretty well even in cloak and even if he does have the silent bell add on you can still hear him breathing and know he's nearby. not too hard to play against like every m1 killer rlly. og m2 killer: hillbilly (boy (aka Max Thompson))

if you can't tell i love the lore of this game and will always flex that i know so much of it. did you know hillbilly is technically unnamed? his parents never gave him one, refering to him as "boy", because he was deformed, lol! he took his father's name, max, on his own, although not legally because by that point he'd murdered a bunnnchchhh of people. i love his fictional cat skin bc like hes just an anthro cat atp, bhvr loves adding furry bait to their game and i love them for that. i don't play him bc im ass, i used to hate playing against him but then i got good (i do think his overdrive needs to be toned down a bit tho bc he gets it sooooooo often rn). and SMASH btw i was originally gonna say pass bc i was unsure about the morality of it considering in his tome he seemed to be pretty much incapable of forming sentences. however that could just be up to the fact that he was completely neglected as a child and even if it was due to severe learning disorders i don't think ppl with severe learning disorders should be stopped from fucking. like umm that's their choice and you shouldn't infantilise them... wow that took a long time... typing all that plus i had to pull up links for stuff AND i added the text to hillbilly and wraith's pics?? it's effort guys. BUT! it's worth it because i get to yap and you guys get confirmation that dbd fandom is alive on this site. you guys should also do the same imo (if you do PLSSS comment so i can read them). also yeah i rlly like the og 3 im not newgen...
