Howdy! The nonexistent reader of my blog may have noticed I've been gone a while. This is because my laptop completely gave up on me a couple months ago, and I didn't notice until like a week ago when I needed it for something. I'm currently blogging from an ancient Dell gaming laptop. A sticker on the keyboard says it comes with Windows 7. How high-tech and modern!
The thing about this laptop, though, is that I don't know how often I'm going to be able to use it. I have yet to find out if I'm even able to take it home with me. Gonna try to see if I can get the graphics card fixed at some point, as it currently can't even process the player and world models and skybox for Webfishing. Whenever I boot up the game, it lets me join or make a server just fine, but when I finally load into it, the player view is solid white. The UI and controls all work, and I can see my nametag shift whenever I rotate the camera or move around, but the models themselves are just gone. Weird.
So, with all that in mind, if I seem like I've dropped off the face of the Earth, it's most likely because I have (not again! stupid gravity stabilisers). Don't worry, nonexistent reader, I'm probably fine. If anything, I'm probably just building a competition robot while I wait to fix my "new" laptop. Rest assured that I will (at some point) get this fixed. It can't rain all the time, after all.
