LORDDDD SAVE MEEEEEEE

Okay so I want to start this rant by recognizing how extremely privileged I am and that these complaints are petty, but at the same time I feel that my frustration with these peoples complete lack of consideration for others is valid. 

Anyways allow me to explain my current dorm situation. I'm very lucky and I get my own single room, which is such a blessing. I can't imagine having to share a room with a rando I feel so bad for y'all. So like on my floor theres probably about 40 of these rooms, and then there is a giant kitchen that we all share, and we share bathrooms too. In the kitchen theres 4 sinks, 2 fridges, 2 freezers, 4 stoves and 3 ovens. 

First of all, having 40 people share 2 fridges is literal insanity. I bought a mini fridge so that I didn't have to worry about it, because not only is there not enough space in those fridges, BUT LORD THE NEXT PLAGUE IS GROWING IN THOSE THINGS. 

I wish I was joking!!!! the sights I have seen I cannot unsee. people leaving their open containers of food to sit and rot in there mmmmmmmm yummmy!!!!! One of the most disturbing ones is the package of chicken.... its like a costco size pack of chicken that, once opened, was not transferred to a ziploc or something, NO!! there is just the chicken sitting open on the og styrofome and plastic barely covering it!!!! HEY YOUR SAMONELLA CHICKEN JUICE IS LEAKING ON TO OTHER PEOPLES FOOD AND IS A LITERAL HEALTH HAZARD!!!!!! not to mention the fact that this chicken has been in there for like 2 weeks, slowly being eaten away...... if thats not natural selection idk what is.... which leads me to my next point

Puke guy:

Puke guy.... I am so tired..... every day.... I have to listen to you retch multiple times a day in the bathroom across from me. Maybe its because your eating chernobyl chicken! Possibly! Im no doctor though!!!! Like guys I DONT WANT TO LISTEN but bro is so loud I cannot avoid it! but i don't think he actually pukes like idk whats going on... bro goes in there retches for all to hear and then i never hear him flush or wash his hands BARFFFFFF (i dont use that bathroom because i fear of what bro has done to it)

Back to the Kitchen:

The kitchen is used by 40 people a day... so you'd think people would understand basic etiquette in order for the place to avoid becoming a complete disaster, things such as

1. Not leaving your dishes to soak in the sink (there are only 4 sinks :) )

2. The sinks don't have garborators, so don't put anything but liquid down there

3. Clean up after yourself

RULES ARE STINKYYYY WHO CARESSSSSSSSSS

I'd rather be inconsiderate and make other people share a single working sink and make them clean up after my mess!!!!! That's the best course of action!

Marijuana Menace/ Scandinavian Stoner:

To the Finnish exchange student that smokes up a storm in his room that endlessy pertrudes into the hallway, to the point where my entire floor got an email saying it will come out of ALL OF OUR SECURITY DEPOSITS...... count your days

Okay rant over, didn't even mention last years dorm shenanigans which were also wild.... oy
