digital camera recs?

hi! so im a noob trying to get into my passion of filmmaking, but i want to do so with the proper materials/equipment. i have an old camcorder that barely works and a sony cybershot, but both have close to nothing in terms of storage and are kinda shit quality. any recs for a digital camera with good quality and a decent amount of storage, but at a budget? (im a high school senior trying to save for college working for 12 bucks an hour </3) THANK U IN ADVANCE!!
