Been a long time since I've written here! Nice to be back :]
I just cleaned our microwave! It had been bugging me for a while so I thought it was about time. The difficulty of that task had started to rly build up in my head the
more I thought about it. But turned out it was pretty quick and easy
after I started! That's what I'm slowly finding out about cleaning. (and a lot of things in life...)
It isn't that hard. U just gotta start and you'll get the hang of it! I feel like the biggest
problem people (me included) have with cleaning is that they don't know
how to do it. Recently though, I started watching this finnish youtuber, Aurikatariina.
She does those "cleaning people's houses for free" -videos that have
popped up on the internet not too long ago. She handles all sorts of
messes without breaking a sweat, and explains in detail what products and techniques she uses. It has rly lowered the bar of handling bigger "cleaning projects" and has motivated me to clean more! :D
My goal of the past few days was to get myself back on track with the calendar. And that I've pretty much achieved by drowning myself in the Christmas ambience. I've been playing those 12h fireplace videos on the background 24/7, as well as listening to Christmas music on loop. And last and least, I've been watching the most shitty Christmas romance movies on Netflix. They truly are a guilty pleasure of mine. Yesterday I pulled a couple of my friends to watch Hot Frosty with me and it truly was an ...experience. Today I've spent most of the day also doing just that and watching the worst Netflix can offer. Either way I think I've successfully brainwashed myself into the Christmas spirit now. Who would have guessed that would work?
Moving on from that let's jump to another topic! For the past 3 years I've had this tradition of going through one Harry Potter book every December. Next up being Goblet Of Fire! So far it's been great and I hope to keep the tradition going 'till I reach the end of the series. (this is my first time actually reading them. I only watched the movies as a kid) I really love how nostalgic Harry Potter makes me... That mixed up with the Christmas time is just the best. But before I can start reading I'll need to finish a few of my other books. On the list rn I've got Psycho, When The Coffee Gets Cold, The Great Gatsby and a few volumes of Witch Hat Atelier. I really gotta pick up some steam if I wanna read Harry Potter in time... Or maybe I should put off some of the less time-sensitive reading and just focus on Goblet Of Fire. We'll see!
Anyways. Thanks for listening to my nonsensical rambles again! I always appreciate people reading my little blogs. Hope u are are doing well.
How are your thoughts on Christmas? If ur celebrating, have you started any preperations yet? Plus do you guys have any little Christmas traditions? I'd love to hear x)

As a person who always has trouble starting to clean my room etc. I should probably start watching those cleaning videos too, maybe it could motivate me also.
I do like christmas a lot but the only preparation that I have done is to listen to christmas music. oh! I also have started to practise songs for chirstmas concerts! My family has a tradition that we wait till my parents come from working in the barn to open presents. I also thought about making a new tradition and watch the grinch every year!

Regarding the cleaning stuff, watching Aurikatariina has really helped me since I tend to get distracted by videos and podcasts. My focus always shifts to what they're talking about and I just get stuck staring at the screen. Watching Auri clean though, I'm just gonna get more tips on how to handle some stains, and it motivates me even more to get stuff done :D
Also I love those traditions! Especially the barn one rly is something that is unique to u.
PS: I hope u give Papu extra cookies on Christmas >:]
