ive lost respect for our mom

she's a sims content creator and she's started using ai "art" to do the stuff for her cause, and i quote, "i can't draw". it's bullshit cause she used to draw just fine.

she's so fucking lazy about it and a family member is pro ai (and an elon musky but that's besides the point) and told her that ai doesn't steal from artists.

i had this argument with her before and i told her that ai is stealing from artists and she said "no, they're using them as reference" and i was like "yeah and that's stealing what's drawn." and then she got mad and was like "referencing isn't stealing. you're an artist you should know that."

it feels impossible to try and change her mind, so i quit, but she shows me the shit she's made and i just lie and go "it's cool" but in reality i've lost all respect for her.
