Small backstory,
I'll not name names for the sake of this article and privacy sake. But, my partner is getting pressured to go into the Navy for next year and I'm both scared yet excited for what this has to offer for us.
But I've done enough go-arounds with his chart that I'm seeing a pattern that stands out like a sore thumb.
Follow with me if you will.
Neptune. Planet represented by the ocean, the subconscious, greater collective ideas and group think.. not to mention daydreams, illusions and addictions, is rapidly approaching Aries next year. His chart has his rising at 1 Aries. The north node, too, is getting ready to conjoin his rising placement. Come around my birthday, January 2nd, the north node would have surpassed his ascendant point and thus cross over into his 12th house. Neptune, currently sitting there, will play a serious part on the materialization of his identity as Saturn starts to also approach.
Saturn too going into Aries next year, will bring a physical representation of his ascendant into view. His 'realization' will hit him hard (he's actually Neptune ruled so there's that for ya), and I have no doubt that Saturn (Reality) being next to Neptune (the Ocean) in Aries (Military) can also quickly sober him up from his addictions (that being to video games). It'll be a bit painful for a neptunian but it's necessary.
Assume another point here. Neptune going into Aries will also highlight the ruler of Aries. That being Mars. His is conjunct his Midheaven in Capricorn. 1-2 degrees. His career could end up being very entrenched with the military. THE PLANET RULING THE MILITARY TOUCHES UP ON THE 10TH HOUSE CUSP. That's his destiny anyways.
But, his Mars being in Capricorn would also affect his own natal Saturn too. His Saturn is much like mine is. In Cancer. In his 4th house.
Whatever he does out there with the military, he's gonna be helping to house a family regardless of the situation. I do wanna be a mother in my future -- and a good mom too; one that's focused on financial/educational success but also fun. Life demands work from individuals, but we never talk about how to game it so it can be more fun than stale. That (I think) is key!
So yeah, boyfriend (probably husband) is going into the military soon and the signs for it are beginning to sprout. He's gonna do great I already know it.
