Why the pokemon Skarmory shouldn't be able to fly

I'm not the smartest person on biology and physics, I will admit that. But using what I do know or can at least figure out, I don't think that stupid metal thing should be able to fly

correct me if I'm wrong about my bird knowledge, I am very much not a Ornithologist

1. Skarmory weighs around 111 pounds or 50 kg, this thing is almost the size of a Emu, a large flightless bird is looks about as bottom heavy as one.

2. He also lacks engines and the same level of aerodynamics most birds and planes have, and I feel like with the mix of being largely biological with metal feathers and skin he should be able to glide at most. I can give it some credit for the body shape but it seems more like a nose dive build.

3. I understand why regular birds fly, hallow bones, light weight, and feathers that catch wind due to there being a lot of them and they make a sort of closed space under the wing. But by all means a Skarmory has 4 feathers on each wing that fold like a window blind, the ability to glide is generous and I only give it that much do to it having a bigger wingspan then like most flightless birds.

4. Finally, the only thing that I feel could debunk anything I've said is it's pokedex entry in the most recent game, Scarlet & Violate: "Its sturdy, heavy-looking iron body is actually thin and light, so it can fly at speeds over 180 mph."

But I don't believe that, Skarmory is fat as hell and I will stand by that.
