Okay, starting with a more recent and well-known website, IMG_0001! (no, the website name isn't the domain). In the words of the creator Riley Walz himself, "between 2009 and 2012, iPhones had a built-in 'Send to YouTube' button in the Photos app. Many of these uploads kept their default IMG_XXXX filenames, creating a time capsule of raw, unedited moments from random lives."

If you're the people watching type, or just have a vague interest in what people are doing globally, it's an amazing way to pass the time! I personally love things like this. Seeing the unique but familiar experiences of people across the globe reminds me just how much everyone is a human too. It really puts into perspective how small the world really is.

Hate capitalism? Still using Spotify, Apple Music, Soundcloud? PUT THE WORK IN! Your y2k dreams aren't as far off as you might think! 

Having a media player where you don't have to worry about stupid ads is a worlds better option, plus it's stylish! I've been using Winamp for about a year now, and it's been working beautifully for all of my computer layouts :]

As you can see, the cool audio players are STILL available for everyone to access and use! But this is about websites, so I'll direct you to some archives for these stunning skins :B

Okay so let's say you're too scared to download an Emulator or ROM but still wanna play old games. Don't worry, I've got you covered. 

You can play almost any retro game you can think of! It's amazing for slacking off in classes, wink wink nudge nudge. I should know, I completed Rayman 2 in the middle of class on this website! Oh, beware of pop-up ads though.

Yeah, I know you do. From Homestuck flashes to dress up games, to E-Cards, to PBS games, Flashpoint has got it. Remember that old flash game you were bummed you couldn't play anymore? Oh boy, you bet your ass you can still play it. The image provided above is the database on the downloaded version, so if you want to access a flash you'll have to search it up on the website to play it (no convenient list, sorry!). I recommend downloading a software like Ruffle alongside this, it helps flash games lag less when played on browsers!

A BUILT IN FORUM! Sort of. As many people know, you can access the internet on your Nintendo Switch via changing your DNS settings, but have you ever explored the menu it shows you? There's an active forum you can access!

The BDNS forum is a small but active place I frequent. People mainly discuss video games they have on their switch or their other general interests. It's a quaint and drama-free place which is surprising considering it's RIGHT there on the Switch! It's actively moderated too!
