My Dream Last Night Had One of the Weirdest Crossovers Ever (Dream Dive 7)

        I have been thinking about talking about this dream all day, it was one of the weirdest, most unexpected things to ever happen in one of the discord servers I'm in.

        So, an origin story as to why I think this dream happened. I was browsing on Twitter (Which seems like one of the worst things you can do these days) and something in me thought "Hey let's go through The Living Tombstone's page again," and so I went through their page. For reference, over the summer, I got a lot of things recommended to me about Hazbin Hotel, and it made me a little bit of a fan (of the music though, never watched the show, but I can say that Poison is an absolute banger, sounds like a lost Weeknd song). Then I went from TLT to Silva Hound, the guy who made Addict (The HH fansong that sounds a little too much like Zedd's Clarity), and that one song from JSAB that I know him for. Along the way I found that Poison was on the Billboard alternative charts when it released(?). Blahdeblah, Silva, PARANOiD, Kovox (Our World is a banger), Twitter, HH, Origin done.

        I don't really know how to word this intro correctly because the thing I remember from the dream was like, the main thing from the dream + some extra stuff about it. The dream starts with me logging on to Discord and seeing some sort of an event in the Daft Punk server. I looked on to the announcements page and saw an emote of... freaking Alastor for some odd reason. (Maybeee the relation is radio cus of WDPK???) From what I could gather from what I remembered, this was some sort of "Animation Takeover" event, Alastor being one of the main characters representing it. The art for it, I remember, looked sick. It was all like, monochrome red, all of the characters (mind you, not just HH characters, there were a whole lot more things being represented here), anime lookin', it went hard, but I remember seeing it in real life before. This is exceptionally weird because this was a dream. How did I know that this was a dream, inside of my dream? Was I lucid?

        This correlation is extra weird because this is the Daft Punk server, not an animator's server, so I DON'T KNOW WHAT ANIMATED SERIES, ALASTOR, OR DAFT PUNK HAVE TO DO WITH EACH OTHER. The only other thing I remember of this dream is, some of the event spilled into elements of my house, cus this is a dream, and nothing makes sense, as seen with the Alastor x Daft Punk collab. Cardboard cutouts of the multiple characters, including - you guessed it - the radio demon himself, were scattered around my house. Supposedly, a part of this event was you were supposed to "talk" to the multiple characters, represented by the cutouts placed around the house, and you were supposed to make something to try and appeal to those characters (NOT DATING, THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH DATING), to get points (from what I remember). You put those points on a school-assignment-esque worksheet and document the character you talked to. I think my brother was trying to make a poster for some sort of superhero character. I, of course, made "demon" wings out of construction paper to wear in order to appeal to Alastor. Sidenote, near the front door of my house, there were some weird, Minecrafty lookin' square visuals / lights. Maybe that was a grid of all of the characters that everyone met with? IDEK, this was a dream.

        Now some more about that last section from the third paragraph. I woke up with the definate opinion that I saw said Animation Takeover event in real life, announced in the Daft Punk server and all. My mind was trying to get to the bottom of all of this all day. "Did I see that before? Was it in a dream prior? Was it in real life?" It was the very definition of my brain gaslighting myself, like deja vu but for dreams (I just googled it, just to see if that phenomenon had a name, it didn't). I went throughout the day wanting to have access to Discord on my phone (Discord is bugged on my iPad, I like to use my laptop after lunch, phone was out of batteries) because I wanted to see this weird freaking crossover for myself in real life. Turns out that it does in fact, does not exist. My brain gaslit me, and I found this out because a mod posted a form talking about a music discovery event night. The last post before it, Interstella 5555's cinema remaster (The movie that Daft Punk - Discovery was in) being added to more theaters. 

        So there's how my brain gaslit me into thinking that at one point, Alastor had something to do with Daft Punk. Real life is such a let-down sometimes.
