POSTING MY POEMS HERE :3
1) Eyes don't lie
He watched her from across the crowded room,
A storm of secrets hid behind her bloom.
Her lips would speak what the world might buy,
But truth danced quietly in her guarded eye.
Each gaze she cast, a tapestry of hue,
A spark of joy, a shadowed shade of blue.
Her laughter chimed, a melody of ease,
Yet her soul whispered tales she couldn’t please.
He saw the glint when her defenses fell,
A fleeting moment where her story dwelled.
Her pupils widened at the sound of his name,
Betraying emotions her tongue couldn’t claim.
The masks she wore would falter, then comply,
But in her stare, the man saw: eyes don’t lie.
Her gaze spoke louder than the words she’d weave,
A truth he knew, though she might not believe.
For love resides where honesty must glow,
And in her eyes, he found all he’d need to know.
