Daily Blog: 11/23/24

just starting to blog my daily activities and feelings because my memory is actually falling apart lol. 

today i woke up after sleeping like a complete log. but weird thing has been happening when i wake up and my hand is like completely numb. must be sleeping a lil weird or on my hand or something. 

when i woke up i messaged my discord server for a little bit, my partner came back to our room and asked me to drive him to taco bell. i got a quesadilla, the guy at taco bell was p funny. said the baja blast smelled good?? and gave us two extra straws because he couldn’t remember if he gave us straws already (he did). 

when we got back home, we watched a bit of Urban Rescue Ranch, which shockingly (not really) has become a bit of a comfort for me. i love watching a well meaning guy just take care of animals. p cool. then we watched a fishing guy, which was also pretty entertaining. my partner is obsessed with gators, so i got a lot of facts about gators while watching. 

took a nap on the couch after that, woke up about 2 hours later. i had a bit of a nightmare, so i was a little bummed, but it was just a dream, and thankfully the villain in that dream is no longer apart of my life. i then watched some arcane and curled my hair. pretty proud of myself considering i suck at curling and it managed to actually look good. arcane is also pretty good. i’m genuinely impressed with everything so far. but i only just started season 2. 

after i finished getting ready my friend came over and we went to a little stationary store, i bought some pens i’ve wanted for a while, and some new stationary so i can write new letters to my friends. after that we went to a japanese market, bought some onigiri that ill be eating for lunch tomorrow. then went to get mochi donuts, and my friend somehow got swindled into buying 6, when he only wanted 2. 

kpot was on the list after that. i felt like i ate a whole cow. i am properly full of soup. was a little sad our friend wasn’t working, but the food was delicious regardless. after that we went back to my place and chatted for a while. my friend is too funny for his own good. was trying to avoid a conversation with an employee at a store and just told her that he didn’t know how to read and walked away. silly goose. 

after he left (without his mochi donuts, that i will be eating) my partner asked me to take him to wendy’s, but wendy’s for some reason was only taking mobile orders. after about a 10 minute rant from my partner, we went to mcdonald’s. i didn’t get anything since im actually so stuffed but yeah. 

we got home, watched the new nosfaratu trailer (looks interesting). i then went to go shower because i smell like beef. after that i got out, and my partner blow dried and brushed my hair, gave me a lil neck rub, and went back out to the living room to enjoy their evening. (my partner works third shift) 

i’m now laying down, with my cat next to me, feeling a little spent on energy. i love seeing my friends, but as i’ve gotten older my social battery has just drained entirely. i can only go out so much before i get exhausted. i used to go every night. i don’t know if this is a welcome change, or a good one. but i’ll get used to it. 

only thing i wish i did more of was talk to my online friends. other than that it was a pretty solid day. i hope i can just relax tomorrow and all that.
