California Forest Wet Walk

Im currently staying in California for work [I live in Kentucky] and we're staying in this cabin in a forest for now. I've been wanting to go out on the top of the hill at the end of this one trail next to our cabin we're you can see the mountains and do some free flowing dance alone up there, but since the work we've been doing is very exhausting, and takes up a lot of time, when I have free time im either too tired or not in the mood.

It's our weekend and we didn't have anything to do today, so I wanted to do it but I wasn't in the moodas usual. Luckily I found this one rad music artist [shout-out no more lullabies] and listening to their music got me in the mood to finally go do it. It rained that day so it was muddy, which didn't bother me, but it started to get dark pretty quick, and because of the weather [wasn't even that cold, I was wearing short sleeves] my glasses started to fog up, so I had to turn around. I freaking hate winter/late fall. I'm a pretty positive person, I tried to remain positive throughout, but as soon as I got back in the cabin I was like damn that kinda sucked

I hate these seasons because I hate that it gets dark so fast, I don't like cold weather, it's so gloomy and dark, there's less bugs [I love seeing cool neat critters outside when I walk], and it's less green. I have seasonal depression so that probably contributes to my dislike of these seasons? But it's not the sole reason. Luckily that hasn't kicked in yet tho r.i.p

I don't rlly regret it tho. I like that I went outside today even if it didn't go was planned. Anyways, back to my nest with the sonic pillow and blanket. And ofc my bestie puppy 💙💙💙💙💙
