Ive noticed that there is a surprising amount of worrying profiles and posts on here that probably dont really abide by the rules, and im not this sort of ultra corporate needs to be clean and advertiser friendly person but
Theres alot of minors posting nsfw things, alot of conversations that arent suitable for many users and a (from what i can tell) lack of care about them
I think there should be some sort of tighter restrictions because i want this to be a safe space for people to get better, meet friends and build a community and exposing minors to such content and allowing them to post it themselves goes against that
Please tell me if im just being stupid, if im just not noticing the moderation or what
I want to hear your guys opinons!
Moderation, enforcement of rules and the lack of it

Moderation is volunteer based. The team here is small and it's hard to sweep through everything in a timely manner.
I believe a lot of people on here who are adults def didn't expect there to be as many kids on here as there are. Now it is in the rules NSFW stuff isn't allowed so both minors and adults should abide by this. I think the issue is the mindset that this is "old web" it's not
Its a facade of old web but with some updated rules, the internet is no longer the wild west.
I encourage adults who want a safe place to interact and post adult things to create their own website. My website is NSFW marked and such and has warnings where you must agree you are 18+ to enter.
I think a big resentment users have on here is minors invading adult spaces. But minors have a right to be here, and it's on us as a community to report content and then be patient. The moderation team is small and doing their best
