Small review of a absolutely amazing fanfic I just read!

So I just read this absolutely wonderful fanfiction called One Track Mind (One Track Heart) by: Ploompkin on AO3. The main characters featured in it are Faba (from Pokémon) and Colress (also from Pokémon). The best way to summarize the plot of this story is by well showing the summary.

One moment Faba’s the second most powerful person working at Aether Paradise. The next, he doesn’t even have the security clearance to access what was his own research. Needless to say, all that matters now is getting back to the top, he doesn’t have time for anything, or anyone else. …Unfortunately, the contractor Lusamine brings in to replace him as head of the Ultra Space research team might just get in the way of those plans.

As the summary suggests and the tags it's a slow burn between Faba and Colress as they both navigate new work place dynamics. 

To avoid spoiling anything I shall get straight on with my thoughts on this fantastic work of literature. The writing itself is fenomenal with the Ploompkin's extensive vocabulary terms used and the way the words work together. It rarely feels overly rushed since you can tell a lot of thought and a lot of love went into every chapter in this story. Faba and Colress were amazing writing, being in character the whole time. Faba is still a jerk but not so insufferable that you have the urge to strangle him every time it moves to his prospective! Colress is still well... moral grey and anyone can immediately tell even without the context from his game version due to how well Ploompkin portrayed him! This is something I highly recommend checking out whether or not you are in the Pokémon fandom!
