Lana Del Rey & Gospel

If Lana Del Rey became a gospel singer, the world would be a slightly better place. Her voice is so beautiful, but she sings about pining after men that God wouldn't want her to be with: emotionally unavailable and/or abusive men. It's gross. Also, she collaborates with rappers/R&B artists that glorify degrading women, doing drugs, greed, gang violence, etc. Lana has so many young women and men that completely adore her. If she were Christian, those that like her would more and likely follow in her footsteps. She could use her amazing voice for good. Yes, she has written songs that mention God. That doesn't mean she's Christian. She has admitted to practicing witchcraft for political purposes before. Christians know that we get our strength from God, not through idolatry. I'm not saying that she can never be saved due to her past. We're all sinners. It's disappointing, because I enjoy a few of her songs and see how much potential she has to make a big change.
