CHARACTER BACKGROUND SUGGESTIONS

I'm thinking about add a few more side characters to my book. 

If you're wondering, my book is about 4 kids from different cohorts(kingdoms) who get exiled to a reformatory, escape, and learn that evil ancient gods are resurfacing after centuries of banishment. Also the gods are based of the Plagues of Egypt from the bible and there are multiple Greek mythology references too. The book contains loads of representation, magic, complex themes/characters and diverse backgrounds. It is a high fantasy novel with magical and mythical creatures

I was thinking of a prophet that has been cursed to only see the bad side of someone's future, so they're casted out to the streets into poverty. A week later, they mysteriously disappear but no one bats an eye.

There's more lore to them but it kind of a spoiler for future books in the series.
