we had a "battle of the books" where we answer questions in 8 categories. the classic, nursery rhymes, Aroha's way, mophead (books we've been reading in school) magic, animals, and war, I kinda forgot the last one) we were meant to wear yellow for my team (kaweka) but I just forgot

Me and the class team went into the hall to represent our class for the school, I thought it would only be my team but when I got in there was many tables with labels on them, four people representing their class/school. i walk with my team and sit down, now this boy dragonfruit..

hes smart, sporty and popular blah blah blah you get it but hes not the annoying type of athletic popular guy, hes really sweet, always has been ever since he was a little kid and me and him would play together. he asked me out as a kid and had a crush on me but I rejected him because I was scared my parents wouldn't approve. i went through all of primary lying to myself telling myself I didn't like him, now in middle school I've finally come to terms with it, told my friends and I actually kinda feel happy now
We've decided to use the code name dragonfruit because my friend has someone she calls "kiwifruit" so I picked dragonfruit because he had that vibe to him

I've decided to continue to call him that here because I don't really think I have that right to out someone's name, after all I wouldn't be happy if someone did that 2 me so were just gonna call him dragonfruit
