Currently I am working on a video game project of my own, a cross between a farming sim and a dungeon crawler, with a focus on plants and growing.
The core gameplay loop will involve collecting samples from the dungeon, planting them and exploring the dungeon more, and eventually using the full plants as items, weapons, and charms in the dungeon. there will also be a mechanic of breeding plants to combine their traits or abilities.
Currently I've built the structure for the plant collection and inventory system, and have made one plant sample to test the system.

Sounds a lot like sakuna: of rice and ruin, might wanna check that out for some inspiration!
