Went to a book fair recently with my mom and brother and they are NOT readers, they walk too fast and I didn’t get a good look at anything but I still got 4 books yippee!! I wanna get back to the habit of reading, I’m trying to go back to classics and read them. I don’t know what got the idea into my head but it’s there!!
It doesn’t have to be like, 100% classic, I don’t know if Daddy long legs can be considered a classic but I loved it.
Also, bought Dracula. I forgot that back then vampires weren’t like, hot and sexy but legitimate monsters but I’m scared shitless…great book but still not finished with it.
Bought Pollyanna and The picture of Dorian gray. Still didn’t start them, probably after exams are over and I can finally live and breathe and exist.
I rambled too much but um basically do you have any book recommendations? Sci fi, YA, Romance, Classics, Mystery, Fantasy, or whatever! If they’re too scary please spare me, I’m a pussy. If it’s mildly scary go for it, I’ll manage! Thank you!! (*ᴗ͈ˬᴗ͈)ꕤ*.゚

If you're interested in a classic read that is still relevant, then I'd recommend "The Pest" by Albert Camus. It's so interesting and you'll see how many parallels the story has with what happened during Covid.
But if you'd like an innovative and original story, "Leech" by Hiron Ennes is a good option. It's a mix between fantasy and medical mystery (that's not really a genre, but there's no other way to describe it)!!

"The secret history" by Donna Tartt is a good read. I don't know what genre it counts as but it's somewhere along the line of mystery books. And tough it's an easy and fast read, it has depth to it.
