Hm? My favorite moment with Yoo Joonghyuk? Uhh... Since you
asked, I guess I HAVE to tell you.
It's kinda funny to think that I was just a regular guy with a regular life,
and I was going to end it after finishing my favorite webcomic, and the next
day I woke up as a completely different person! I was in the webcomic. I
got used to life here, and made a friend, Yoo Joonghyuk. What I'm about to tell
you is a very dear memory to me, when I started feeling different about him.
He'd probably explode if he found out about anything I said about him here, so I'm trusting you to keep it
to yourself *point at audience and smile*.
You know, I never thought
I’d find joy in something so simple*lots of hand movement*. Just the two
of us, sitting here under the stars, laughing about our past battles. Who would’ve imagined that Yoo
Joonghyuk, the legendary Swordsman, could crack jokes and actually enjoy a
moment of peace? *Small chuckle*
That night, we forgot about the looming threats and the weight of our
destinies. We shared stories—his tales of victory, my misadventures—and for
once, the tension faded like the shadows of the night. I watched him smile—not
the stoic hero everyone expects, but a friend who found solace in
companionship. It was a such sight, one that reminded me of the humanity
beneath his hardened exterior.
The little things—like the way he would roll his eyes when I teased him or the
playful banter that would spring up between us— it was everything to me, I never knew he could be so
precious *high pitched voice with the ‘squish’ motion gesture*. When he
laughed, it was infectious, it was a sound so rare that I wished to capture it forever *camera gesture*.
Did I tell you how he was like my everything at that very moment? Right, I'm
off track, my bad. Dang
now I kinda feel guilty *Hand on neck while mumbling*… So uhh... Emm... I kinda left a
part out *nervous rambling*... I’ll *stutter* tell you of course...! Just a
moment! *Deep breath*
*clear throat* I wasn't the only one teasing
*look away from audience*, he teased me too about how short I was. So what
if I'm short? You know what else? He made fun of me for being the ugliest king!
The audacity to bring that embarrassing title up! The audacity! Off that now,
he said something else that caught my attention. He said he didn't agree with
my title as the ugliest king, that my smile could probably knock someone dead.
I don't think he actually said that though, I think it was my imagination.
Someone as handsome as him would never say something like that to someone like
me. There's just no way, right?
*desperate*
Those moments were not just escapism; they were a lifeline. I’ll cherish that
night forever. Even if it won’t matter later. Even if he was destined to be the
one to kill the demon king of salvation. That’s me by the way. But he doesn’t
know that yet. He doesn’t need to, at least for the next few chapters. I can’t
tell him that the monster he has been chasing for his whole life was his best
friend.
And now you know! *cheer*
