Newer Seasons of Family Guy (TW: Opinion.)

Okay, so, this really bugs me.  Ever since like Season 18 Episode 16, I have begun to slowly hate Family Guy.  Now, here's the thing.  I absolutely love Family Guy... The.... Earlier seasons.  I don't mean to romanticize the past or anything, but they used to care about what they made.  In recent times, their jokes are lazy, they only put out episodes to gain from it.  Their jokes used to be targeted on making fun of the past and recenter times, and now they appeal to only millennial humor.  Lois is the biggest target for this.  Most if not all the jokes she makes is: "I'm a mom, so I'm going to go do this mom thing, haha!!" Like that pisses me off when it's the only joke they ever make- or it's just "Isn't this thing kinda quirky!!!! LOLZ" I happened to rewatch the 200th episode special, Seth himself said "Weve never tried to be anything more than something that makes you laugh." And then I think forward to their Emmy episode where they just do spin offs of Emmy winning shows in hopes of an Emmy....... Like... what.  They tone is off if they wanted to make that funny.  They talk about how teens and adults alike used to watch Family Guy wether or not they knew the refrences.  You know why?  Cause it still made sense and I could still get the joke!  Not only that but the music they made was so catchy and fun!  What have they become?  All the characters have become unredeemably selfish.  Lois especially, for some reason.  Every new episode has a phone in it and at least one joke about how theirs either so many sensitive people or entitled people.  And it's not that I don't agree but FUCK just chill out.  Hope they change and I'm glad that somehow American Dad has not suffered from this effect.
