Hello! :D This is my first entry to my blog since the time I joined Spacehey; since then, my activity has diminished a little bit.

I learned about this website from friends, so I decided to give it a try. It gave me some blurry memories from the old internet, the time when algorithms didn't dominate the entirety of social media. It was quite refreshing to find out about this website in a period where I have a lot of work from college.

So I decided to make my own layout; at first I grabbed a premade layout, modified the CSS code, and hosted it through Netlify. After I had my first profile done, I decided to browse the page seeking to meet people with similar interests as I. I found out that many forums on this website are just dead, and the last reply they had was some days or even months ago. Something similar also happened with some groups I saw that seem interesting but were dead; however, many seem to have been active in the past and at least have posts of my interest.

After exploring the website a bit, I decided to check out the browse button in order to meet more people. I began browsing, and then I found out that many people were like 12 or 16. How are there kids on this platform? How do they know about Spacehey, and why are they interested in a time when some of them weren't even born? Shouldn't they be on TikTok, Discord, or any other mainstream website were kids hang around? Whatever, I expected to see more nostalgic old folk on this website instead of young folk, so that twist in my expectations was unexpected.

Anyway, I managed to meet some cool people, and now I'm seeking to meet more, despite my tight schedule I think I will hang around this website more or less. College life is tough
