Anyone else sick and tired of the people not understanding the meaning of certain lyrics??

I keep hearing people complain about the ''autotune'' In some of Melanie Martinez songs ( Portals album) 

For example; ''I miss the old melanie, this doesnt feel like her music'' 

I'm js wondering why people overreact, its a new evolution to her story. Crybaby evolved, of course the nymph won't sound the same. It's a different creature!!
