Origami Angel Concert [11/17/2024]

hiya spacehey!!

went to my second concert ever and it was AWESOME!! kinda D:

with the foo fighters concert, my friends and I had seats in a big stadium. it was still super fucking loud but there was room to breathe at least. I really should've gotten seats on the balcony's surrounding the top because holy shit..

I was at the front of the crowd, just behind the people who were up against the barricade and the later into the show it got, the more squished and claustrophobic I became. of course when the first band started playing I realized I completely forgot my earplugs :'[. I thought pssh I'll be fine. it can't be THAT loud, right? wrong..

I had to cover my ears the entire time which was whatever but then a fucking moshpit started directly behind me and launched my ass into the people infront of me. some guy got pushed infront of me and spilled his beer all on himself. he was super cool about it and wasn't angry though [thank god]. my dad literally had to switch spots with me and act as a barrier behind me [he's built like a fridge LMAO]. my brother and dad were having so much fun and I was busy trying not to get toppled over. THEN the crowd surfing began. I immediately got kicked in the back of the head which obviously the person couldn't help but still ow D':. my dad was practically hurling people over my head as I kept ducking down. one guy who was crowd surfing fell towards my dad and elbowed him right in the eye. the guy felt so bad and profusely apologized LOL.

this was the point that I started getting SUPER anxious. I think I said "excuse me, sorry, im so sorry" atleast 100 times that night trying to get through the crowd. I had already went to the bathroom once and going through the crowd again to have a panic attack in the bathroom was making me even more anxious!! it felt like the walls were closing in and EVERYONE was staring at me. I braved it and pushed through the crowd and had to recollect myself in the bathroom. THANK FUCK there was a basement area where the merch for the bands were being sold. it was so calm down there with a bar area and some little merch tables set up. there was also a projector showing what was currently happening on stage. there was a really small stage that everyone was sitting down on so I sat down and chugged some water. I later ended up going to the Forests merch table and got a cute shirt with a cat playing the guitar on it >:3 I also had a conversation with the drummer!! he was super nice and I complimented him on his shirt [it was a band t-shirt for N3M3515]. I sat back down next to a girl with black lipstick and long frizzy hair AND a boy with glasses named Hunter [I completely forgot the girl's name :((]. we chatted for a while until Origami Angel FINALLY played. I immediately ran upstairs and stood at the very back of the crowd freaking out. I looked like a total idiot, dancing and jumping about while I screamed every single lyric to their songs. I had to leave early BUT it was super fun at the end :'D
