This week will mark the last 20-something birthday that I have. For years I have loved and expressed my love for aging and can't wait to be 30. Now that it's Thursday, Thanksgiving, I feel anxious. LOL. I never really get to celebrate my bday how I want. I can recall "good" birthdays on my hand. In 2016 my father passed on my birthday, it doesn't bother me anymore but its just annoying (???) because I've never had a "GREAT" birthday. It's always cold, I can't dress sexy like I want because I hate being cold. Everyone's with THEIR family, fun things are CLOSED. I just want to celebrate on the ACTUAL day. Not the day after, a week before, a week later. I usually just stick to treating myself. Which I do enjoy. Fancy restatunts of MY choice, a spa trip, a local hotel stay (NYC) is nice, getting my lashes or nails done, a photoshoot. Things I've already made norms for myself.
Idk, I'm looking for a thrill. I need a thrill.
I'm coming to terms that I won't be doing anything big between now and the end of December but I hope to live my best life between January 2022 and November 2022 to make up for it and celebrating life.
Not to be pessimistic because I think
BDAYS are a BIG deal and treat them as such but don't get pregnant in Febuary and March.. unless you can really time it.. Thanksgiving and Christmas birthdays are NOT it. Well, maybe Christmas birthdays might be okay.. I still love being a Sagittarius though. 💋♐

Gettin old and going thru life is wonderful. some people see gettin old as a bad thing and when i was younger it seemed like everyone felt like your life was over when you turn 30, like you just old af and washed up but i've never felt that way. I hope you have a great birthday and are pleasantly surprised. I hope next year treats you well also.

Yeah, fr I don't know why people think that. I feel like 30 is really you stepping into your purpose after trial and error with the real world. Glad to meet someone who doesn't feel that way either.
