Today I want to show another character from my stories, Astaldo, the Godslayer, I designed him for a fanfiction. An elven king created by the darkness, but not evil himself. He has a wild character, aggressive, rough, not particularly squeamish and never avoids a fight.
I painted his face myself back then, but it didn't turn out particularly well. Those were the beginnings of my collection. I would certainly do it differently today, but so far I haven't had the courage to take the paint job off and put a new one on. Somehow I seem to like it after all, or I've got so used to it that I don't want to change it. Maybe I'm just lazy.
Astaldo is one of the few dolls that has armour. I found it on Etsy back then and was lucky enough to get it. The principle is simple, its made from cola cans and covered in leather. But it still looks good, so what the heck. He's a very big guy and it was always very hard to find clothes and especially armour for him, so I'm quite happy that I have this armour, I've had him in my collection for 8 years and haven't changed the design once because I haven't found anything better for a mountain like him. It will probably stay like this for the next ten years, because I will never sell him.
Translated with DeepL.com (free version) because i'm to lazy to write in english
