Song of the week #1

"A Fond Farewell" by Elliott Smith I don't know what it was this week, but it's felt like a rollercoaster.... I've been STUPID happy cuz MCR's going on tour, but today I just want to be left alone and away from the world; I feel like my life is ending, if that makes sense, and I have no reason why I feel this way. Anyway, all that being said, something about the song " A Fond Farewell" by Elliott Smith has been on my mind, this week specifically, and I just really like it. The dissonant guitar and Elliott's echoed vocals just fill a spot in my heart I never knew needed filling, and a spot in my mind where I desperately wanted something to sit. If you haven't listened to this song, or anything by Elliott Smith for that matter, you absolutely should, he's an amazing and unique artist.
