Did people just like become copy a pastes of each other after like 2022? I’ll talk to different people and it just feels like I’m talking to the same person over and over and everyone just feels so movie and performative like, I don’t get it

Pity
Humans are social creatures at their heart and a big part of that is that we kind of like to mimic the behaviours of the people we surround ourselves with, especially if we see the people we mimic garnering attention.
If you hang around the same spaces long enough, people will also just inevitably start to feel like they are clones of one another, getting out there into new fandoms and hobbies can help break up that feeling of ''sameness'' I find.
